I think I have the final pricing on the safes and locks. This is based entirely on the number of people who have responded and the entire order. If anything the price will go down if more orders come in because we get better rates.
Laptop locks that are 4 wheel combination that you set your own combination and it attaches to the security slot on your laptop so you can connect it to a table or fixed object if you are at an internet cafe to prevent the grab and run thief. $12.00 (This lock sells in the States for anywhere from $20 up. It us sold under the name of Defconcn in the States and has a pretty heavy duty cable.

Passport safes that are also using the same technology as the laptop safes with a user programmable access code. These are smaller versions of the laptop safe and are about 31CM wide X 20 CM deep and 20 CM high. $68.00.
The expected deliver time by sea is 3 weeks from the date of the order and that will be next week. The unknown is customs and I have no idea what that cost might be.
Laptop safes that looks like from the measurements will hold two laptops. This can be bolted to a fixed object as it has mounting holes in the bottom and the back. $ 98.00.
The laptop safe is 20cm x 43cm x 33cm
It is electronic with a changeable combination. It uses 4 AA batteries and does
have an emergency key over ride in the unlikely event of a failure of the electronics.
The lap top safe is pictured above and the "passport" safe I don't
have an illustration of at this time but they say it is about 6" x 6"
x 9" however they will build a safe to my specifications. There are four
mounting holes in the bottom and also at the back of the unit so it can be bolted
to a shelf or other object. I am going to have my welder give me a proforma
on construction of a pedestal that can be bolted to the floor or placed in concrete
on the floor, depending on if you are renting or own the property.
As mentioned these are being provided to the community at my cost. My business has always been to provide security to the better hotels and resorts but Granada is my home and my wife and I have many friends here and the thought of making money off their unfortunate situation does not sit well with me. I have been in the lock and safe business for 40 years and sell like products to hotels throughout the Caribbean and never have had any problems, except battery failure which is contributed to user error.
These are a product from China, the only place in the world that can build a quality safe at a reasonable price so we are looking at sea shipment which will take about 6 weeks so you won't have one tomorrow. If you have a real emergency I can of course ask them to send one by air and this morning I asked my associate to price air transport.
We also have a line of electronic locks for the entry doors that we are installing in our new apartments in Granada. They use a card system but unlike the ones most of you are familiar with these are what we call prox cards which uses an RDIF technology that senses the proximity of the card and opens the lock. It is like the security devices we have come to know through the years that blast a message as you pass through the portal "please return to the cashier so your purchase can be deactivated"
These are changeable at a moment's notice with the provided software and best
of all it has an audit trail so you can download the activity of the openings.
It gives the date, time and what card was used to open the door. Perfect for
small hotels, guest houses, apartments in the event the guest says someone came
into to the room and the camera and cash are gone. This audit trail tells you
exactly the activity on that door.
We also have laptop locks and I have found another source for 4 wheel combination laptop locks that are about 25% of the price we would pay in the USA. Also we have pepper spray and door alarms that you can set at night and should someone open the door it triggers an alarm, and hopefully the intruder will flee, or at least give you time to get your pepper spray and baseball bat. I'll need to check the inventory but we may be sold out of door alarms. They are only a few dollars so they went real fast. I have a friend coming in a few weeks who can probably bring another 50 or so.
